Frequently Asked Questions

How do I look up an HOA on your site?

  1. Navigate to the California HOA Search button
  2. You will see a list of all counties in California
  3. Choose a county and click on the "HOA's for this County" link
  4. On the next page you will see up to 10 associations listed for that county. You can either go to each page and search or you can go to the search box and type in the name of the HOA that you are looking for in that county.
  5. To start a new search in a different county, please go to the California HOA Search button and go through steps 1 through 4

How to I get to the board members?

  1. After you have found the HOA name, click on the "Read more" link in red to see the board members and the property manager if available.

Why can't I find a particular HOA?

  1. Some HOA's have variations in their names, or they will have abbreviations.
  2. The HOA could use a completely different name than the actual neighborhood or condo name. For example, the neighborhood name is "Island Reef" but the HOA is named "Reef Association". Just type in "Reef" to see suggestions for that county with the word "Reef" in the name.

I found the association, but there is no property manager listed.

  1. Sometimes property managers can pick up new associations as clients and will be listed in the next update. In that case, you will have to contact the board members directly.
  2. Not every association uses a property manager. Some associations choose to self manage.

Are you affiliated with the HOA's listed on your site?

  1. No. We do not have any affiliation with the HOA's on this site. We can't supply you with an eStoppel or association documents. Documents can change frequently therefore it is always a good idea to get the association docs directly from the association or their property manager. That's where we come in. If you can't find a contact, you can look them up on our site.

Can I purchase your data in bulk?

  1. No, sorry we are not currently selling our database in bulk.

How many searches can I do on a daily basis?

  1. Our system is not designed for you to do bulk searches. Our system is designed for you to look up board members or associations as needed. We limit the searches to 50 daily. If you go over 50, you risk being banned from the site and will no longer be able to access our site. If you have a particular need, that is legitimate, please email us for re-consideration.
